Hi, I’m Nicolas, and I’ve spent my whole career doing one thing properly: carpentry.

I was born and raised in France, and that’s where I picked up my first tools — trained in traditional European methods of house construction, the kind built on patience, precision, and doing things the right way rather than the fast way. Those habits never left me.

When I moved to Australia, I settled in Sydney and spent years working alongside local builders, learning Australian building standards inside and out. Over 25+ years, that mix of European technique and Australian know-how became the way I work — solid, well-considered, and built to last, whether it’s a deck, a wardrobe, or a full room of timber flooring.

Eventually, I made the choice to leave the city behind. My partner and I chose Port Lincoln for a slower pace, cleaner air, and a real community — the kind of place where you get to know your neighbours, not just pass through their lives on a job site. Now I’m bringing everything I learned over two decades of city work to the people of Port Lincoln, Tumby Bay, Coffin Bay, and Cummins.
